Image Treadmill: Are They The Best?

How does the Image Treadmill compare with other popular models? You will pay anywhere from four hundred to one thousand dollars for these machines. This is certainly on the lower end of the scale in terms of pricing, so does the quality reflect this?

Many people actually feel that Image Treadmills are the worst among the Icon company model lines, and if you are an avid workout enthusiast, these models really won’t suffice.

Obviously, the price is the first indicator they might not stand the test of time. As I’ve stated elsewhere, if you plan on walking you really should be spending roughly one thousand minimum for a quality treadmill (if you are buying new) and fifteen hundred if you are going to be running on it.

You see, the increased expense is because as a runner, you will require a longer track for the longer strides, and also more power. Naturally you will pay a bit more to get this.

The truth is, you just can’t get a new treadmill for five hundred dollars and not sacrifice on quality, and this is no exception with Image. This might be why they are the least known about or purchased of the Icon models.

The Image Treadmills are cheap, anad do come with heart monitors and shock absorption, which are some more advanced features. However, in my opion, the cons outweight the pros. The cons are, they aren’t that well built, they only have a three month wararnty, and you very well might have it in the shop a lot for repairs.

The bottom line is that I wouldn’t advocate you get an Image Treadmill, simply because they aren’t all that durable, and the warranty is a joke. If anything goes wrong with it(and it likely will) you will be footing the bill, and very well might find the treadmill becomes nothing more than a clothes hanger in the long run.
